Together with around 100 other people I attended the demonstration in support of Mr and Mrs Prior (the couple whose house was demolished 8 years ago at Vera).
I have attached a few pictures of the day. The Mayor of Vera did said that he was optimistic of reaching agreement with the Priors but need to hear what was said when he was interviewed by the press after his speech.
Regarding the suspicious doing meat thrown into a private house yard it transpires that this was totally innocuous. A couple living nearby thought they were being kindly by throwing some raw meat into the garden. It was not poisoned meat at all.
