I am once again pleased to report another incidence of generosity by one of our neighbours.
Beryl Booth recently won a hamper and included within it was large Jamon. She asked if there was anyone who could benefit from this, as a gift. I enquired and found that we do have a large family who have fallen on hard times with the husband losing his job and having six children to support.
Our Mayor took the Jamon to the family today (Friday 26th January) so they could enjoy it over the weekend.
