Postal Voting and Medical Complaints

Firstly many people are reporting that they have not yet received their voting cards (including me) Normally they arrive about 4 weeks before the election, so they may still be in the post but, if anyone is concerned, about your ability to vote, if you call into the Town Hall, we can check the computer to make sure.

This is the process for Postal Voting for the local elections this year.

If you are not going to be here or able to vote in the election on Sunday 26th May there is no opportunity to have a proxy vote. There is however the option to have a postal vote.

To do this you need to attend at any Post Office with identification eg NIE, passport. Ask for ´Solicitud para Votar por Correo.´ They will then send you a notification (by certificated post) that the form is in the Post Office. You then return to the Post Office again with your identification they give you the form which you just need to complete and return to the Post Office at that time or prior to the 16th May. The forms are available now at any Post Office and this includes our little local one but that only opens 1300 x 1400.

If you require any further help or advice just let me know.

We have had a few complaints about the stand in doctor at Zurgena surgery. Unfortunately we have little influence with the Medical system. The only options are to ask for the Complaint Form at the surgery (Hoja de Reclamacion) complete and submit or (and I am indebted to John Coles for this) write to the supervising office is at  Andalalusian Health Service   Avd De la Constitucion 18  41071  Sevilla.

This link helps explain https://www.spanishsolutions.net/legal-issues-in-spain/hojas-de-reclamaciones-customer-complaint-forms/

If you require any help completing the form or writing a letter we will be happy to help.
