This morning there was a visit to the works of the section between El Cucador (Zurgena) and La Concepción (Huércal-Overa) of the first phase of the Autovía del Almanzora, a project currently underway, started last autumn, with a budget of 25.3 million euros of budget.
Our mayor, Luis Díaz, visited the works together with the Minister of Development, Infrastructure and Land Management of the Junta de Andalucía, Marifrán Carazo, the Minister of Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries and Technological Development, Carmen Crespo; the president of the Almería Provincial Council, Javier Aureliano García; and Domingo Fernández, mayor of Huércal-Overa Overa, among other institutional representatives of the Levante and Almanzora regions.
During the visit, the progress on the project, of this section between El Cucador and La Concepción, which includes the complication of the bridge (more than 300 meters wide) that is required to cross the bed of the Almanzora river, was witnessed.
