It is with great sadness that I have to report the death of a lady known to many of you, who passed away following a massive stroke this Tuesday 30th June.
Marion Woolnough beloved wife of Mike and her funeral is to be held at Arboleas Tanatorio at 1730 hours tomorrow Friday 3rd July. Mike asked me to post on here so that as many people as possible are aware and all are welcome.

Having recently moved to live in zegena we are in the process of obtaining our recidencia, as you are aware the process involves having many documents authorised by the townhall, we previously had our NIE's done and our patrons no problem, we were informed that we also needed to get authorised copys of our passports from the townhall, we scanned them took them in yesterday and were told very abruptly they would not authorise them as they have been ordered not to do it anymore for CAT services clients or any other. We were told to make an appointment at a notary who would do it and charge €10 each. We went to our conveyancer and today she took our passports as she was going there anyway and she was told by them in Albox that the townhall should have done them and the person we saw was just being awkward. Can you please clarify if he should have done them for us as if he should have it was unacceptable for him to refuse in a process that needs to be done as we were told to do. It just makes it more complicated if it was unnecessary to go to the notary when the townhall could have done it.

Hi David I am guessing that you didn't intend your comment to be attached to the notice of a local person passing away. If you email Jim Simpson direct he is very helpful for Zurgena residents jiminysimpson@gmail.com
DeleteVery sorry, I definitely did not mean it to be. Please accept my apologies. I will email Jim on his email address
